Let start by saying, This book GRRRRRR... I was all over here seeing Collen Hoover, ladies from book clubs, friends etc.... post that this book was coming out soon soon soon. *I was so excited!* I first read Collen Hoover when I was recommended (Hopeless) by my friend Tammy. Then I proceeded to read her book Maybe somebody holy moly. Once I got to Ugly love I just couldn't contain my excitement I started it the minute my husband brought it home from the store for me!
Tate- What can I say about Tate. Strong, Independent, Hardworker, Loyal to her brother even tho in the beginning they hadn't seen each other in a while. Once Tate meets Miles is when I want to stop reading the book and not pick it up again. The reason- I was expecting a LOVE/ROMANCE get the girl and make her mine book was I thrown out of the way for that one. Tate being around Miles really bothered me yes, girls go all week in the knee's and yes our brains do sometimes stop functioning when somebody you never expected talks to you but they way she acts no, I just couldn't take it.
Dillon- I wanted to become Colleen Hoover and rewrite that Tate meets Dillon in the elevator like she does and the moment she realizes he's married and is trying to hit on her. She would turn into this all mighty bad ass bitch and kick the ever loving shit out of him to the point where he would go crawling back to his wife apologizing and she wouldn't forgive him kick him out and he would be left with nothing but his career. Well, that is not how life is and to me while I am reading the book is real life we could only wish :(
Miles- I wanted to kick him, slap him, and hug him and help him with his "I can't love anybody." I was jealous Tate got to do this what girl doesn't want to help the hot guy next door? Miles had it rough with everything that happen between him and Rachel I wanted to ball my eyes out. Having and kid and being on the other side and "reading" others that goes through something as horrible as loosing a child and hits home and hurts my heart.
I did enjoy this book and the ending was fantastic. It took a while to get to the plot of the book but, yet again to me it wasn't meant as a love story it was, but at the same time it wasn't. I loved all the characters except Dillon grrrrrrrrrr the book was very enjoyable and I cannot wait to read more by Colleen Hoover. Has anybody seen this lady on FB freaking hilarious and has a heat of gold.
