*Spoiler ALERT* If you have read this series of books that are available please continue reading :D if you have not do not and I repeat DO NOT read any further. Go get the books and read read read you will love them I promise.
The Reed Brothers!!!! I do not know how I ended up finding this series but, the minute I started reading the first book I was hooked. Big muscular men and they all work at a Tattoo shop come on who can't love these guy's. Not all the books that are posted in this picture are available but if you check out Tammy Falkners FB page or check her out on Goodreads you can see find what books are available and you should just hop right on that horse and start reading them.
Tall, Tatted and Tempting & the rest having to do with Kit and Logan- “I want you more than I want air.”
Logan and Kit ohhhh boy the love between them that starts the minute they meet each other just squeezes my heart. Logan being def not talking but with sign language then he meets Kit and BOOM! his world explodes. He drops like a fly on a wall for this girl and even starts talking. Kit also has a disability with not being able to read like others but does that stop her from being so strongly independent running away from her parents (dad's) arranged marriage for her and be coming a rock start (No, really she does) no, it doesn't. She gave up the man that she loved to help his brother when he was in need. Luckily her mother stepped up and realized you can't marry somebody your not in love with and let her daughter be with the man she so desperately wanted/needed in her life. A woman who can walk away from the man she loves to help his family is a woman I would want in my life if I was a man. I love the relationship between these two and the brothers. I wish their story didn't end but, we gotta have an ending somewhere right?
Calmly, Carefully, and Completely- “I love you completely, princess”
Peter and Reagan man is this girl a spit fire or what! I would be to if I ever had to go threw what she went through. Peter being there to help her through her horrible night and getting her out of that place. That is a man right there not asking a single question just doing the right thing and helping her. Peter went away for 2 years for doing illegal things to help get extra money just in case his brother Matt went back into remission. After getting out he is propositioned to work at a camp with disabled children because he knows sign language so fluently he is paired up with a kid who he calls Gonzo. He takes an instant liking to Pete because Pete doesn't treat him like he's a breakable porcelain doll he treats him like he another person no matter his condition and that is what I love about Peter and his brothers people with disabilities are just people to them which is how it should be. Reagan is a fighter and Gonzo loves her what 15 year old doesn't like a hot girl who can kick some ass LOL! The minute Reagan punched Peter in the face and kicked the ever loving balls out of Chase I knew I would love this girl. It takes a while for Peter to treat Reagan the way she wants to be treated instead of him walking on eggshells the whole time.
Maybe Matt's Miracle- Now this book just made me wanna jump up and down for joy. I was so excited Matt and Skylar became a couple it took a little while but it happened. The conversation she had on the phone with her (at the time boyfriend) Phillip- “Pro: you’ve already dumped me, so now I can tell you that you’re really lousy in bed, Phillip. Awful. You’re selfish. If I never have to see your penis again, I’ll be a happy, happy woman. Giddy, in fact.” I was jumping up and down fist pumping the air I was loving this part. YES! It made me laugh even more when Seth said he herd the conversation bahahahaha. I was so happy that Skylar was there for these kids and took them in after her father asked her. I would say with not questions asked but, she did ask questions and a lot of them. I was so scared the whole book that Matt would say his cancer came back and that he was dying and there was nothing they could do about it thank goodness that never happened I would have balled my damn eyes out. I think out of all the books this is my favorite one Matt is my favorite character he's a damn big ol Teddy bear and I love it!
Proving Paul's Promise- The fact that Paul thought Friday was a lesbian when everybody else knew she wasn't cracked me up. Seriously how can you not know something like that hahahaha poor Paul. Friday had a secret of her own and once you find out what that secret is, it's seriously like your mind has been blown. What Friday had to do I wouldn't be able to do even if I had to sleep on the streets and make sure that baby had food and clothes before I had anything. I understand she did what was the right thing to do. It really surprised me that she had an open adoption yet, never went to see the kid. I have never had to go through that aspect in life so I am sure it would be hard to give a kid away doing the right thing and on top of that seeing your kid all the time it would break my heart. Paul almost ended their relationship with what he pulled calling the lady and having her meet them at the park. Friday was so happy and upset she didn't know what to do. I was really happy that by the end of the book she was in constant contact with the little guy and would take him and go do things. He may not know who she is but, at least she is in his life.
The shorts that are also in this series are great and I really enjoy reading about other characters the one short that has stuck out to me was Finally finding Faith. That book hit home I even explain the book to my husband and it kills me that men that have fought for our country really go through things like wanting to end their lives because they lost their friends/brothers while in war. Even getting help and talking about the problem doesn't always help. I was so happy that he found Faith and figured out that life is worth living. Time may have stopped on his watch but, time was still ticking by he just need to open his eyes.
